| Friday, August 26, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! READY OR NOT - Part 2 - Roman is of the opinion that battered victim Mandy would be more comfortable talking to a woman. At his request, Hope goes off to see her. Roman realizes Bo and Hope were together. He asks if they are good. He is glad when Bo states they are doing well at present. He had almost forgotten what a great team they are. Roman calls them the best detective team the Salem P.D. will ever have. Bo appreciates it. Roman excuses himself to go check on some medical records he asked Lexie to pull. - Hope is with Mandy in her room, showing her sympathy for how she must be suffering. Mandy starts to blame herself, but Hope stops her. No woman deserves this. The girl gets teary-eyed. Hope understands what it is like to feel desperate. She has been there. Mandy decides she does indeed understand. Hope is different from the other cops and seems to relate to what she is going through. Hope tells her that is true and she will make sure no one will be able to hurt her again. Mandy gets worried about what will happen if she identifies her attacker and he comes after her. Hope replies she will only feel safe if he is locked up. Mandy is still worried. Hope implies another woman could be attacked and implores her to help them find him before it is too late. - At the Brady pub, Nicole taunts Tay, who claims she does not mind her showing the mugshot to Roman. She claims she was only arrested for protesting at a human rights demonstration which occurred when she was a grad student. Surely Roman will not mind that. Nicole admits she almost has her convinced, but she knows she has a secret and will soon find it! Tay just wants her to back off. Nicole vows to prove that Miss Perfect's life was just a big lie! The topic of EJ comes up. Things get even more tense between the sisters ... - Back at the mansion, EJ realizes why Kate has been mocking him. However, he will not get sidetracked again. He explains he has fatha's full support to be in charge of all things DiMera, both personal and professional. Stefano has agreed to step back, to focus on his health, and his heir has officially taken over for him. "I'm calling the shots now!" announces EJ. Kate blanches. - At the hospital, Sami asks Rafe to hang onto her wedding ring while she is in the OR. He promises to keep it safe, kisses her, and departs. Sami starts to put on her hospital gown, her eyes filled with fear ... - Rafe approaches Lexie at the nurse's station. Roman walks by and overhears them discussing Sami in the OR. Roman demands to know what is going on. - Lexie joins Sami in her room to forewarn her that Roman overheard them talking. Roman rushes in and hugs his daughter in the bed. Rafe watches. Roman sits with her and tells her how worried he is. He would like to call mama Marlena. Sami insists she not be contacted until they know whether there is a problem. Roman declares his daughter means the world to him. They exchange I love yous and embrace. Ring ring! Roman gets a call from Bo. Sami thinks it must be about the attacks case and urges him to take it. She thanks him for being with her and tells him to go back to work. Rafe promises to keep him posted. Roman hugs her and assures her he will be back. - Back at the pub, Tay asks if it would make Nicole feel better if she said she was sorry. "I am sorry for taking your husband." Nicole gets sarcastic about her sincerity. Tay explains she is sorry, but she cannot apologize for falling in in love with EJ. Besides, Nicole was bad for him. He was trying to change for her. Nicole snaps he will never change and if she thinks he would, she does not get him at all. Tay points out it did not work for either of them and hopes her sister will let it go, move on. Nicole's eyes narrow. This is about her, not EJ. "You have secrets and I am going to find out what they are!" Tay now gets a call from boss Bo. He wants her to bring Mandy's files to the hospital. Tay excuses herself. Nicole accuses her of trying to walk way. Tay thinks she should stop looking for something that does not exist and walks out. Stop searching? "Not a chance!" muses Nicole. - Back at the mansion, Kate whispers that EJ is a cold, ruthless bastard. She touches his face. "Welcome back, my love. Your father would be so proud!" - Back at the hospital, Tay has the flash drive with Mandy's file for Bo, who is standing with Roman. She appears horrified when Hope emerges with the news that the now awake Mandy is ready to talk! - Back in her room, Sami plays cards with Rafe. Enter Dr. Lexie. It is time. Sami is ready for her needle. Rafe praises her for her strength. Sami sighs she is lucky she has him and he kisses her one long last time before the operation ... Next on Days of Our Lives SAMI Where are you gonna be while I'm in surgery? RAFE Right here! "That lady there, she's my whole life. Take good care of her," Rafe implores Lexie. Lexie prods sleeping Sami. "Sami! Can you hear me? Sami!" |
