CHAIN REACTION - Part 2 - Tay recounts how she believed Quinn cared about her, until he took her to a party with high rollers and negotiated a fee. He points out he told her she could go home when she decided she was not comfortable. She exclaims she remembers the cops arrived first and now she has a record. She did nothing wrong on that particular night and yet it will haunt her for the rest of her life! She updates him on her sister finding her mugshot. She lied to her about the arrest and Nicole bought it - for now. But if she learns the truth, she will blab to all of Salem about them. Quinn promises Tay he will protect her, as she is still important to him. She retorts she does not need his protection, was never one of his girls, and walks away. Quinn is at the pier alone. Along comes Madame Viv, announcing she has been unable to eat or sleep since their falling out. He doubts it. She starts to explain as Gus stands behind her with a gift box. She begs Quinn for another chance and admits she was wrong. He suspiciously asks what she wants. Merely for him to be in her life, for them to be okay. Is that possible? He sighs she does make life interesting ... Viv excitedly hugs him. She orders Gus to give her son the expensive, extravagant wine goblet and he purposely drops the box so it breaks. Viv calls him a stupid oaf and rages he will pay for it. Quinn steps in and assures her accidents do happen. They decide to go off to Chez Rouge together. Gus is left standing alone, seething ... - Back at the hospital, victim Mandy admits she does not like talking about that night. Hope implores her to remember everything. Any detail would help. Mandy flashes back to the man in black with his dangerous baton facing her and cries at him to leave her alone. Dr. Dan is at her side in an instant. The upset witness no longer wants to think about that night. Dan orders everyone out. - Sami wakes up in her room and she is groggy. Lexie states they have removed the cysts, which have been sent for a biopsy. All of a sudden, Sami gasps, and her machine goes haywire. Dr. Lexie orders the nurse to get some meds before she loses her, as her heart rate is too fast. She tries to wake the patient, but Sami shuts her eyes ... - At the Cheatin Heart, Justin admits to Adrienne that this custody case is tough to negotiate. Adrienne hopes independent Chloe will make it. - Meanwhile, Chloe begs Randy to act like he does not know her. He agrees and sits at a table with a drink. Justin and Adrienne now praise Chloe for the progress she had made. Things are looking better for her chances. Chloe appreciates it. Her gaze wanders over to Randy ... - At the hospital, Rafe finds Lexie out in the hall and demands to know what is going on with Sami. Lexie admits there were complications and she had to get some meds. She will not say more and goes back to the patient ... - Elsewhere, Bo and Hope discuss what they have learned on this day. The attacker came to Mandy head on, as he wanted to see the fear in her eyes. They soon learn from Dan that she has been sedated ... - Back at the Cheatin Heart, Justin encourages Chloe and tells her he will be in touch. Chloe thanks him. Justin steps away with his wife. He quietly informs Adrienne she does have a chance at partial custody, but only if she stays on the right path. Meanwhile, Randy walks by and whispers “Next time, honey!” to his good time girl. Chloe does not appear pleased. - Back at the hospital, Lexie finally approaches a very worried Roman and Rafe. Rafe demands answers. "How is Sami? What happened?" Lexie stares ...
