| Wednesday, August 3, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! AMERICAN IDOL - Part 2 - Carly opens the door to Vivian in a hallucination, where Viv proceeds to taunt her that she lost it all. Mel will probably run away, just like Nicholas. Carly covers her ears and screams to stop. She then sits up in bed with a start. - Viv runs into Gus outside and lectures him for drinking. As it turns out, Quinn was not home and no one answered the door. Gus bitterly walks off and keeps drinking from his flask. - Down at the pier, Quinn criticizes Kate. She crossed the line and almost caused an investigation that would lead directly to him. Kate talks back. Quinn is aware who her husband is, though that does not change his stance. He warns her not to mess with him. "You have no idea who I am!" He saunters off and Kate vows to find out exactly who he is! - Quinn has been summoned to the cemetery to meet with Madame Viv. She shows him Lawrence's gravestone and informs him she had it put there. That is all that remains of Lawrence. She wants her son to know how important it was to her that Carly paid for what she did. Quinn becomes silent. Viv updates him how she stopped by his place but there was no answer. She wonders if the woman is still in his bed. He wishes she would not press about his private life and admits he is having a bad day. He had an encounter with someone and has made a new enemy. She offers to help. Who was it? "Kate DiMera." Viv is stunned. She is her worst enemy and has some motherly advice for her son. "Don’t let that cobra make the first move! Ever!" - Chloe and Kinsey enter the Cheatin Heart, happily discussing Chloe's success at the club. And soon there will be more such dates! Kate listens nearby as Chloe's self-appointed assistant gushes she will be huge! Chloe smiles and recalls the case worker said she would soon have a chance with her baby boy Parker. Kate walks up and taunts her that she was just chatting with Phil and Parker on the phone. He called Phillip daddy but will never need to say mama! Kinsey defends her idol. She warns Kate that she will have it all soon and Parker will not know the word granny! Kate retorts Chloe will never have a prayer and waltzes off. Kinsey is disgusted and offers to handle Chloe's public as her PR person. Chloe just hopes her ex-mother-in-law will never find out how she was making money. Kinsey promises she never will. Chloe goes to buy her friend a non-alcoholic drink. When she steps away, her phone rings. Kinsey answers. An eerie sounding guy asks for Lola, as he wants to book her. Kinsey pauses and then grins naughtily. "Sure honey, give me your digits!" - Abigail sits with Mel at the pub and apologizes for everything. She regrets they are no longer friends and hopes her mom will come back soon. Mel stops her from leaving, emotionally admits she still needs her friend, and they embrace. - Dan has requested that Jen accompany him to the pier for a talk. Jen starts to explain herself but he wants to end things between them. For good! Jen disagrees and blurts out how she really feels. "I love you, Daniel!" He stares. - Carly stands up and looks at her disheveled self in the hotel mirror. Lawrence suddenly appears and leers she is stuck with him for good! She tells him to go away. He invites her to come to hell with him and holds out his hand. She cries she does not want to go, reaches for the phone, and dials a number. Lawrence disappears. Melanie answers her phone as she exits the pub and wonders just who is on the other end. "Hello?" Carly silently cries, clutching the receiver. - Kate walks outside, muttering about Quinn to herself. Boozer Gus approaches. What a coincidence that she too has Quinn on her mind! Kate wonders what he knows about him. Gus slurs she does not know the half of it and staggers off ... - Back at the pub, Abigail thanks boyfriend Chad for telling her not to give up on Melanie. They kiss and gaze at each other. - Down at the pier, Dan is stunned to hear Jen admit she has loved him for a long time. He reaches for her and murmurs "I love you too!" They embrace and kiss like they mean it ... - Mel keeps saying hello into her phone. Carly starts to gasp "Melanie" but alas, her daughter has already hung up. Back in the hotel room, Carly hangs up the phone and starts to cry. She rummages through her purse for another number and makes a call, this time from her own phone. "You gave me your number ..." She wants whatever he has, dramatically declaring "I need to stop the pain forever!" Next on Days of Our Lives Sonny addresses Adrienne and Justin. "I have to tell you something but you might want to sit down!" Stefano gives EJ a dark look as his son sits working at his computer. "You are protecting someone. Why???" "We have to solve this problem once and for all," Victor announces. Brady gives him a strange look. |
