Will assures him he valued their time together and he learned a great deal. EJ remarks that despite the rocky start, he came to appreciate him as a friend. He will be eternally grateful for what he and his motha did for him, how he helped him escape. Will wonders what comes next. EJ explains the kids are his priority and he intends to put his house in order. He will focus on family and hopes he will be able to involve William’s motha in that situation. Will, however, is convinced that would NEVER work. EJ starts to explain they are rebuilding their relationship. Will is pessimistic. He reasons every time they try, one of them gets hurt. EJ frowns. Will reminds him that his mom has a history of failed relationships. They always break up so why would he think this time would be different? EJ claims to appreciate the honesty. Will hopes he will be honest with himself for he would not wish him to get hurt. Exit Will. EJ considers. - Brady joins Victor at the mansion and would like to talk Titan. They need a leader to right the wrongs that evil Ian inflicted on the company. Victor chuckles he seems to think he is that leader. Brady damn well does and says so. Victor wonders what his father thinks of that. He agreed to release him from his contract at Basic Black. Titan is where he belongs. Victor shakes his hand and heartily welcomes him back. He now wonders if Maggie had reached him as she was anxious to talk to him about Mel. Brady hopes that Andrew punk is not still out there. Vic quips he is dead This is about the other stalking punk, Nick Fallon. He is up for parole and might be released. Brady’s eyes darken with worry. - Adrienne is glad to bump into Will at the town square, which is a flurry of activity tonight. Will expresses how sorry he is about Jack. She thanks him. He adds he is also sorry for missing the memorial. She asks how he has been. Great. Will nervously mentions Sonny. Adrienne innocently informs him he is with his friend Brian at the moment. Will remembers seeing them together. She wonders what he is like. Is he cool? Seems so. Adrienne is glad Sonny seems to have someone in his life. Will glumly pretends to agree and Adrienne goes on her merry way. - Brian returns with the tickets as Sonny wipes down the counter. He does not appear enthusiastic about the great seats. Brian realizes that he might not want to go and warns him to do something if he is still hung up on Will or else he will lose out! Brian walks out in a huff. Sonny looks down. - Dan admits to Jen he had wanted to call her yet knew not what to say. She understands. He heard they just returned from California. Indeed, and they spread Jack’s ashes off the coast, where his adopted father used to take him for summers vacation. She laments they had recently discussed going there, then stops herself. Dan understands. She stares at him and agrees he does. He nods. - Cameron lets gal pal Abigail know he has tomorrow off. She agrees to go out with him. He wonders if she is really ready. She replies she is tired of being sad and she knows her father would want her to have fun. They embrace. She stares into space. - Dan and Jen sit on a bench by the pretty flowers and she shares that it got to her to remember how Jack enjoyed Big Sur. Dan can relate, as he too lost a spouse, and is sorry the memories can come flooding back at the most unexpected time. It is hard. If there is anything he can do ... She is not even sure what to ask for. Dan gets it and decides to let her be for now. He walks away. Jen blinks back the tears. - Sonny impulsively places a call to Will, who sees it is him, but Will turns off his phone so he gets his voice mail. Sonny sighs and leaves no message. - EJ is sitting alone, reading his newspaper. He calls for another drink. Billie sits down at his table uninvited and taunts that she heard he got lucky and the charges will be dropped, so why so miserable? - Sami arrives at the pub early to get the kids. Caroline had assumed she was with EJ. Rafe opens the door just as she tells her grandma that for the record, she is NOT with EJ. Caroline wonders is that now or .... "Not at all," says Sami. She wants to treat the kids to a hotel near the amusement park before they hit the park. Caroline asks if Lucas will be going too. No, just her and the kids. Sami now races upstairs to surprise them. Rafe saunters up to Caroline, who warmly smiles it is good to see him. He hears Sami chattering to her kids and quietly takes it all in ... END |
