| Wednesday, August 31, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! LOVE HURTS - Part 2 - Mel and Nicholas nervously get to know each other. He received her emails and is sorry he did not answer her. Mel suspects Carly is over the moon to have him there, in her time of need. Nicholas enlightens her that it was a disaster. He now regrets coming and told Carly as much. Mel snaps what the hell is wrong with him! He angrily explains it is not black and white. He is leaving and knows their mother will be better off if he is not around. Mel accuses him of being selfish. Nicholas appears surprised. He dramatically confides to Mel how hard it is for him to come to terms with the fact that his mother murdered his father, Mel quietly asks if she was good to him growing up. She was amazing from the time they had together. Mel sadly states she grew up in a terrible home, after his father made Carly give her away. As a result, she only recently met her parents. She knows Carly is the best person to have on her side. She forgave her for the past and suggests Nicholas do the same. Nothing he does or says will bring back his da. Does he also wish to lose his mother? Nicholas considers. - Dan and Jen drink champagne and she announces that the past few months with him have been special. He is the best guy. Dan waits for the bad news, but there is none. She continues to compliment him and smiles she means it. He is so thoughtful, with this romantic setup. He is perfect. She wants him to know there is no one else she would rather be with in this world right now. Dan has a question. Dies she want to be with him even more than Leif Garrett? She giggles she does. He drawls that is an honor. They declare they love one another and start to kiss under the sheets again ... - Carly summons Dr. Norman to her room and flies at her for pushing her son too soon. He is leaving for Europe and she does not know if she will ever see him again! She had no right to drag him into intense family therapy. It had been so long since she saw her boy but now Dr. Norman has ruined her life! She suddenly stops and admits it is all her fault, since she was the one who killed his father. The doctor patiently points out that they still could end up on the same page. Carly confesses she is not strong enough to get through him not wanting to be near her. The doc assures her she has strength and they will find it with therapy. Carly decides she is done. She is checking out. And she wants to go far away. Dr. Norman attempts to talk her out of it without success. Carly is already packing. Nicholas appears and shyly asks for a do-over. Carly now smiles through her tears and asks what changed his mind. His sister. Mel enters with a smile and a wave. Carly emotionally hugs them both. A family hug between mother and both kids for the very first time! - Jen kisses sleeping Dan and gets out of bed, with the blanket wrapped around her. She walks toward the window and wistfully looks out at the night sky, as though she is searching for something ... - Back at the pub, Quinn exits after suggesting Chloe think of this time as a vacation. Once he is gone, she whips out her phone, and proceeds to call a client as Lola. - Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Kate insists she did not even tell Stefano about this project, as it is her baby. Maggie sighs. "Oh my!" Brady thinks this is big business and wants to get started right away. Victor stops him, for he is not interested. Kate's mouth falls open in disbelief. She asks Victor if he is trying to make her lower her price. No, he just feels it is not a good fit. Brady reminds him he has the power to veto his decision. Victor insists it would not be a good fit and his decision is FINAL Kate wonders if Brady will overrule this. He refuses to go against Vic. Kate snaps it is a big mistake. Maggie points out the men will not change their minds and walks her to the door. Brady demands to know what is the matter with the Greek tycoon. Was his decision out of spite? Negative. Then why did he refuse, after he saw those great numbers? The Greek tycoon drawls he has something much bigger in mind and slyly advises his grandson to watch and learn ... - Chloe is alone down at the pier. She places a call to her date and coos not to tell Quinn or keep her waiting long. Meanwhile, the attacker raises his weapon from behind a crate, having targeted his next victim ...! Next on Days of Our Lives Rafe drawls to Sami they need a distraction so she impulsively kisses him. RAFE (on phone) You can tell her the good news yourself. LEXIE (on phone) No, wait! Lexie solemnly faces Sami and Rafe. "The biopsy showed some abnormalities." "I have cancer, don't I?" whispers Sami. |
