| Monday, August 8, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! EMERGENCY - Part 2 - At the pub, EJ asks Chad not to repeat what just happened to anyone. Ring ring! Stefano calls EJ and starts to explain he must come home right away. Before he can elaborate, raging Brady storms in and accuses EJ of setting him up! Sonny steps between the two guys so Brady cannot attack. Brady rages Maggie was shot and this is far from over! Sonny ushers him out. Chad and EJ are tense. - At the Cheatin Heart, Nicole gets a call from Brady, updating her that Maggie was shot because of Stefano. The truce was a setup and she needs to get herself out of the line of fire! - Carly slowly walks back into the room and Quinn explains when she mentioned her estranged son, he immediately knew he had to help her. He himself was abandoned by his own other, who is now trying to make amends. Carly wonders if he has forgiven her. Up to a point. They are trying to make up for lost time if it is possible. Carly thinks that is generous of him. He admits his father was not a good influence and that led him to get involved in things that were not wholesome. "And now?" asks Carly. Pause. Quinn explains he is trying to get rid of the anger and bitterness. He sadly states there is nothing worse than being abandoned. However, it does get better and she can find what she is looking for if she takes her life back. He wants to help. Carly cries "Thank you!" and they embrace. - At the hospital, Dr. Dan updates Victor and Jen that a bullet is lodged in Maggie's chest cavity. They must perform surgery. Victor implores Dan to save Maggie. They will do what they can. Mel thinks they should get Victor checked out, as his hand is covered in blood. He explains it is Maggie's. She is sorry. He is too. He and Stefano were trying to settle their differences. That is when Maggie got in the middle. Mel starts to scream and cry that Maggie was shot because of him and it is therefore all his fault. Brady and Sonny arrive and Brady takes her in his arms, consoling her. - At the mansion, Stefano nervously pours himself a drink. He must concentrate! EJ storms in followed by Chad and demands to know if it is true that Maggie Horton was shot because of him. The phoenix states it was an accident. EJ rages why could he not leave well enough alone! - At the hospital, Victor and Brady talk. Victor blames himself, as he was attempting to broker a deal with Stefano. Sonny listens. Brady notes they should have learned by now what those DiMeras are like ... - At the Cheatin Heart, Nicole thinks EJ fooled everyone yet again. Tay begs to differ, but Nicole insists he has not and never will change! - Back at the hospital, Maggie is wheeled off for surgery. Vic whispers he is sorry. She whispers it is not his fault. Mel gives the Greek tycoon an accusing look. Now all they can do is wait and pray for the best ... Next on Days of Our Lives Nicole faces Brady."Do not make things worse than they already are!" EJ explodes at Stefano. "I WAS PROTECTING MY FAMILY!" Maggie is under the knife in the Operating Room. "We're losing her!" laments Dr. Dan. |
