Abigail gets off the phone with Dario, who has not heard from Mel. Cam had no luck talking to her pal from the spa. Abigail informs him she said a prayer for Mel, just as he used to pray for his mom. Cam sighs a real man does not need to rely on a higher power. Abigail notes it is sexy when a man asks for help and impulsively kisses him. Cam is flustered and wonders who to call next. She remembers there was a shrink Mel once spoke to when Carly was in trouble. She hopes Cam can get in touch with her, given the urgency of the situation. - Bo is waiting for Hope to return before he shares anything. He now probes Chad about the fight he had with his missing girlfriend. Dan is dismayed they have to wait. Chad admits he accused Mel of being glad his father was dead. He now gets his back up that Bo is acting like he is a suspect. Bo wants to know how the fight ended. She left and then did not answer his text. Dan snaps the guy is already tortured enough. Bo, however, is doing his job. Dan wants something. Bo informs them they are still checking surveillance tapes. And there has been no activity on her credit card or use of her phone. Chad concludes it is bad. Bo calmly explains they will wait to see what Hope discovered at the apartment. They can also go to the media, find out who was at Horton square when she disappeared. Dan sighs that would take time. Chad has an ominous feeling that Mel is running out of time … - Gabi is horrified by Andrew’s threat. He rages her days of trying to push him around are over! - Sami wishes EJ could tell her where he was, what he was doing the night Stefano was killed. He cannot explain it but he can give her his word. It does not seem to be good enough. He now advises her to please protect the children. She gets worried. He assures her he means he is concerned what other children will say. If this all goes to hell, he hopes she will make them a priority. She agrees, as she always does. He wants her to make sure they know he loves them.Sami gives him a sympathetic look. He wonders what she is thinking. Sami admits he is a big part of what makes their kids special. “Likewise,” says he. Sami notes they both tried to keep each other out of the children’s lives and it was wrong. She will never try and turn them against him. He stands up, much moved, and thanks her. She tides up the kitchen and wonders what comes next. She is assuming he will get a lawyer. He will. Sami notes this time he does not have Stefano helping him. He assures her that he will be fine regardless and is clearly pleased they are in synch about their children. It is something. Sami smiles it is a lot. - John, Lucas, and Marlena are later disappointed to discover that no one on the board took the bait. They are too afraid to go up against EJ. Lucas must depart but asks them to keep him posted. Marlena consoles John. “It stinks!” He agrees. They exchange a knowing glance. - Abigail impatiently waits for the shrink to return Cam’s call. He gets her on his lap and hugs her. He points out things have worked out in the past for them, like it was meant to be. He now gets a text and frowns. - Chad has just texted Abigail and Cam an update on Mel. He is ready to start looking. Bo is impressed. Dan gasps there must be something they can do. Bo explains they need more info before they can start a hard target search. Dan gets testy about Mel being any kind of hard target. Bo understands, as he is her father. Hope waltzes in with news. Mel left behind many of her belongings, makeup, and her luggage and current passport were in Dan’s storage unit! Bo solemnly states she did not want to leave the country. Chad suddenly realizes she was not the one who wrote the email to him about going to Europe. Bo stares. - Gabi nervously apologizes to Andrew and begs him to end it. Perhaps he could take Mel far away and let her go. He grins he would rather not and points out he and Mel have things in common. He believes in time she will come to like it here. Gabi gasps the police are already looking and he could get caught! He warns her not to say anything as he has those recordings. Gabi reminds him he is implicated too and points out she knows his name. If they both go to jail, he will never see Mel again. But he will not budge on the issue of letting his fair prisoner go. He likes her company. Gabi will not be able to change his mind ... - Mel meanwhile, is tied to a chair and rubs her bracelet against the wall … - At the police station, Chad and Daniel are horrified Mel’s captor must have set this up. Dan fears what else he is doing to her. - EJ explains to Sami that if he ends up in prison, he would ratha she not bring the kids to see him there. Sami hopes he will not go to prison. EJ teases that sounds a tad supportive. She laughs he is not giving her much of a choice. EJ notes he could not have killed his fatha and she must know he is innocent. He thanks her for that, gets closer, and she gives him a bear hug. Enter Lucas. “You’ve have got to be kidding me!” Sami and EJ turn around to face the music ... END |
