Gabi feigns ignorance. The rest of the gang listen intently. Abigail stares suspiciously. Chad wonders who else’s fingerprints were found on the note. They seem to believe he had an accomplice. Hope notes the other prints did not match any in the criminal database. Chad gasps upon hearing that Cory is an escaped mental patient with a criminal record. Gabi is utterly horrified to hear Bo explain they did send the other set of prints to the passport agency. They are out for justice! EJ insists the police have no more than circumstantial evidence against him. Rafe cuffs him. Roman announces they know for a fact that Stefano is not his father and he too knew it! EJ is rendered speechless. Sami cannot conceal her shock. Roman continues. That was his motive. He killed Stefano before he could cut the imposter son out of his will! Mel’s crazed captor suggests they move further down the tunnel but Mel begs to go above ground. He agrees to go find a place they can hide above ground. Mel cries to take her with him. He assures her Mr. Bear will stay behind and protect her. “Please don’t leave me alone!” she screams in desperation as he disappears from view. She rattles the pipe. More debris from above comes crashing down. Mel is knocked out cold, her wrist still chained to the pipe. Roman instructs Rafe to read EJ his rights and so he does. Will races in. Lucas follows him and says to stay away from EJ now, for justice is being served and their family will be free of the DiMeras. Sami quietly tries to creep out the door. Lucas frowns upon seeing her. “What the hell are you doing here ...!” END |
