He adds he was surprised by Sonny's situation, but it should make no difference whether someone is straight or gay. Gabi kisses him and he kisses her back. - Jen puts Carly under the shower. Carly collapses.Jen places soap in her mouth and she starts to cough and gasp. Jen soon puts her in bed. Carly is alert and laments she cannot go to the hospital. Her daughter cannot know. Jen proceeds to call the hospital. Carly wonders if she wants to ruin her life and career so she can have Daniel. Jen puts down the phone and snaps she gave up Dan for her. Carly snaps it made him want her more. Jen exclaims she is done taking care of her! Carly argues that she betrayed her. Jen slaps her and insists this is not about Daniel or betrayal. Strung out Carly sits on the bed and cries she has lost it all. Jen exclaims she threw it away for the pills. She reminds her she did not want Mel to know, though she does not want to stop. She should want her daughter to have a mother who is not a drug addict. That is what she is. Jen laments she is her enabler! The pills are all she wants. Her job and friends mean nothing to her. Carly denies it. Jen angrily shows her there are more pills and warns the next person who finds her here will be her daughter. What a scene that will be! Carly cries. Jen continues with her tough love approach. Mel will see the drugs are more important to her mother than she is. Carly screams she hates her and sobs on the bed. Jen covers her. "Oh God I'm an addict," she wails. - Dario and Mel sit on a bench. He thinks he does not measure up to her, as Titan's new messenger boy. He is a mess, while her family is almost perfect. Mel scoffs. - Back at the hospital, Dan is in a foul mood. Nurse Maxine advises him to fix things with Ms. Devereaux and Dr. Manning … - Maggie drops by the Kiriakis mansion again and smiles she will have that tea after all, with a side of crow! Victor invites her in and coos she can have anything that her heart desires. She praises him for defending Sonny. He assures her he is not prejudiced, just as he had already said. Maggie wonders if they are taking a step forward or back again. When they are together, it feels like they are standing on the edge of a cliff. The Greek tycoon drawls they both must sense this is the real deal. The redhead impulsively plops down on his lap and they start to kiss ... - Back at the club, Gus and Madame are at his computer. She presses the button that will put the final nail in Carly's coffin! - Back at her pal's room, Jennifer promises to take her to a clinic. Carly refuses. She does not want the hospital to find out. Jen insists no one will find out. It will be very hush hush. They will pretend she is taking a vacation. Carly cries she will go. Jen assures her she loves her and no one will find out. Carly sobs on her shoulder like a baby. - Down at the pier, Dario leans in and starts to kiss Mel. She hopes he feels better. They try again. Ring ring! Mel glances at her phone and gasps. "Oh my God!" - Meanwhile, Maxine has something to show Dr. Jonas that has just come in. A very telling photograph of Dr. Carly Manning passed out on the floor, surrounded by pills. He stares darkly ... Next on Days of Our Lives "Did you come to Salem to ruin my life!" Nicole snaps at Taylor, who is cozy at a Cheatin Heart table with Brady. "I think it's the end of of her!" Viv cackles to Quinn like the wicked witch. He appears disinterested. Sorrowful Mel is at her mother's side. Dan and Jen observe. Carly suddenly stands up and storms off. "I can' stand all of you looking at me!" |
