| Tuesday, July 5, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS NOW - Part 2 - Tay lets EJ know she does not like ultimatums. EJ points out they love each other in spite of everything. She realizes he wants her to take a leap of faith. He explains that if she has doubts about them, he fears they have no chance. Tay gets teary-eyed and assures him she has faith in him. She suddenly smiles. "Yes! I will marry you!" They share a kiss. Along comes Stefano. He watches solemnly as EJ slips the ring on her finger and she again agrees to marry him. They soon realize the phoenix is standing there. EJ barks at him to go away. Stefano welcomes Tay to the family and adds Elvis is a lucky man. He wants a moment alone. EJ refuses. Tay assures EJ that talking to his father will not change anything. They kiss and she steps away. Stefano explains that he is there to warn his son about the terrrrrrible problems they are having! They sit and the phoenix acknowledges she is a lovely girl. He realizes he cannot change his son's mind about this marriage. EJ thanks him. Stefano adds but there is still something that could change everything! - Still talking on a bench, Abigail assures Mel that she thinks her mom is moving on in an empowering way, but admits she does want her parents together. Mel admits she wants her parents together too! - At Carly's place, Jen accuses Carly of being an addict. She had the white powder analyzed and knows she has been lying about doing drugs. Carly retorts that she has no proof. Jen exclaims she has been getting prescriptions under her old name and lying. Carly insists she has it under control. Jen yells about the seriousness of the situation. If someone else had found out, it would have been terrible! Carly assures her she is fine and will stop. Jen angrily doubts it. Carly snaps at her to stop yelling. Jen declares she loves her and that is why she is mad. She demands she look at her and announces she will do whatever it takes to help her. Carly stares. She promises her problem is over. Jen does not think she is facing reality. Carly cries the reality of her life is that she lost Bo and a patient and her son. But she faced reality. Jen sadly states she has been stealing the hospital drugs so things must have been bad. Carly insists that was then, this is now. Quitting wasn't easy. Jen wants her to open up to her and promises not to judge her. Carly knows she loves her, yet insists there is simply nothing to talk about. She must get back to the hospital. However, she promises to talk to Jen if she needs to. Jen must accept her answer and leaves. She pauses at the door, quietly declaring she will fix things ... - Outside, Bo and Hope proceed to overpower Stefano's goons. Bo uses brute strength, whilst Hope zaps and neutralizes with a taser. Moments later, cocky Rafe shows up at the DiMera front door carrying Johnny, whom he picked up from school. Maid Mary is caught off guard. She will find Mr. DiMera and tell him he is there. Rafe drawls they aren't there and tells Johnny to warn them to be real careful the next time those DiMeras comes down those stairs. Johnny nods. Rafe grins insanely, playing the role of the rogue imposter to perfection. - At the pub, Viv laments to Quinn that Carly murdered her beloved Lawrence in cold blood and ruined Nicholas' life. She is mad that Quinn has brought it up. Quinn wonders why she threw in the towel. Viv gets mad about Carly all over again. - Tay enters the hospital and has exciting news for Lexie. She shows her engagement ring. Lexie smiles she said yes. She is aware of how much EJ loves her. Tay updates her how EJ convinced her the time was right. She sadly adds she cannot call her mother on this happy day. It upsets her greatly that the man who murdered mama Fay still walks free ... - At the warehouse, the bound and gagged imposter is groaning up a storm. Hope walks in and coolly tasers him into silence. She gets back to the other room. Bo has something for Rafe, who is going to play games with the DiMera thugs' voice transmission. "Five minutes 'till showtime," drawls Rafe, holding the device. - Stefano informs EJ that their rogue imposter is trying to call the shots and sent them a note. If not for Elvis, they could have already gotten rid of him! Maid Mary now calls EJ, who is horrified to learn that "Rafe" brought Johnny home from school today. "WOT?!" - Mel and Abigail are walking outside the pub, wondering if their parents are even ready to move on ... - Jen returns to the hospital, where Dan eagerly awaits. He invites her to spend the weekend with him in San Francisco. Jen flashes back to her conversation with Carly. She laments to Dan she cannot go and walks away. - Back at the pub, Quinn tells Viv there is nothing like family bonding over an adventure, Aussie style. He calls their revenge on Carly a family project. They will make her wish she had never been born! Viv coos she feels close to him already. How do they proceed? Quinn drawls they will find and exploit Carly's weakness ... - Down at the pier, strung out Carly walks alone. She spies an apparition of Lawrence, who leers she cannot and will not ever beat this! Lawrence disappears. She blinks. - Back at the warehouse, Rafe muses EJ must have heard from Mary by now. Bo gets an unexpected call and laments to Hope and Rafe that they have one hell of a problem. - Back at the park, Stefano exclaims to EJ that he wasted time looking for a rrring for his little bookkeeper instead of taking care of Giovanni. The time has come, they have no choice. "WE HAVE TO ELIMINATE RAFAEL!" Taylor, who has just returned, stops and stares. EJ looks mortified …! Next on Days of Our Lives "It's working, Rafe. He's about to blow," Sami explains on the phone. Stefano waves a finger at somber EJ. "That woman is going to make you miserable!" "EJ asked me to marry him and I said yes," Tay defiantly updates Nicole at the Cheatin Heart. Nicole scoffs from her barstool. |
