| Friday, June 24, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! COVERUP - Part 2 - Bo curses and thanks Hope for the update. He realizes he needs to talk to Brady. After the call is over, he explains he must take off and will have an officer take Tay's statement. Tay quips Salem is a police state. Bo tells her that he has a whole file of women who fell for EJ and hopes to keep her name out of the sad collection. Exit Bo. - At the pub, Mel insists Victor and Maggie could still be happy. Maggie thinks that she just wants them together, riding off into the sunset. She suspects she is more interested in that than the blood feud! Besides, he already shut her out, so all this is only idle speculation. Mel now wonders if she should have kept walking when she saw EJ with Brady. Maggie points out the coverup must be bothering her. However, she did the right thing. Mel just hopes no one else will pay for her involvement ... She also hopes Maggie will at least try to talk to Victor. The redhead agrees. But with that one there are no guarantees. - Meanwhile, at the Cheatin Heart, Dario admits to Detective McCarthy that he was not present at work all night. - At the hospital, Hope gets the rest of the EJ story from Jen and Carly, who is worried about Mel. Carly must step away to take a call about pediatrics. Hope remarks Carly seems unusually on edge. Jen insists it is due to the attack and Mel's involvement. Hope retorts God only knows how this will play out between the DiMera and Kiriakis clans. Carly later apologizes to Jen for overreacting. She gets back to her patient EJ. Jen informs nurse Maxine that she called the pest reporter from the Intruder and diffused the situation, at least for now. Hope follows Carly into EJ's room, where the patient is sleeping. She is relieved, as that will at least give Bo time to speak to Brady. - At the house of Kiriakis, Victor tells Nicole to scram before she makes things even worse. Enter Bo. He drawls that this time, he agrees with Victor! Nicole politely excuses herself. Officer Marino walks in and Bo orders him to arrest Nicole. He will tell her for what in 72 hours. He wants her in jail, where she will be safe. Nicole snaps he just wants to shut her up. She is angrily escorted out. Victor is amused. Brady asks Bo how much he knows. That he put EJ in the hospital. He only arrested Nicole to get her out of the way, until he figures out what to do with Brady! Shirtless Brady takes another drink. - Jen is going over hospital records and suddenly whispers "It couldn't be!" She flashes back to Carly and decides she has to know. She lifts Carly's access card from her purse and departs with a purpose. Meanwhile, Hope assures Carly that she and Bo will protect the identity of all those involved in EJ's case. She hopes he will never remember. - At the Cheatin Heart, Dario explains to the blond detective that he was late for work last night, but would rather not reveal why. Mel enters in time to overhear McCarthy threaten that if he does not start talking about EJ DiMera, Dario is going down to the station! - At the house of Kiriakis, Victor points out to family Bo there are many candidates who could have beaten up EJ. Bo reminds Brady what he did is called attempted murder. There may be a way to keep him out of jail, but then all hell will break loose! - Nicole finds herself stuck at the station in a room with her sister. Tay announces she figured out who attacked EJ. It must have been that evil Rafe ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "I think that Carly is sick, she is very sick," Jen woefully tells Abigail. Sami is seated at the pub with Rafe. "EJ DiMera's gonna be all alone for the rest of his miserable life!' she declares. "You're so in love with this guy that you can't even see straight!" Nicole exclaims to Tay. |
