| Wednesday, June 29, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE STING - Part 2 - At the hospital, Tay and Lexie discuss Rafe's bizarre behavior. Tay is convinced he killed her mother. She wishes for herself and EJ to be able to put this nightmare behind them. Lexie warns her that there is never a happily ever after with a DiMera. Things are complicated. - At the mansion, Sami babbles she knows Rafe did not do this and asks EJ to understand. He quietly says he wishes he could. She insists he might have provoked him but EJ explains he has no memory of what happened. Sami yells she has no idea of what Rafe will do next. She has left Sydney with Mary and takes off. EJ now takes his leave, as he himself has something to do. Stefano places a call. "My son Elvis is leaving the premises. Follow him. For his protection, of course!" - At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor cannot believe Mel thought he would flee town and take Maggie along with him. The redhead agrees it might not be that urgent anymore. Her first thought was no way, but nothing is going to stop her from giving it one last shot! She reasons the present counts more than the past. She wants to know why he decided they could not be together without asking her. She wants to leave him with something to think about, just as he usually does to her. She plants a big kiss on his lips and flounces out. Victor is affected ... - At the pub, Kate explains to Chad that outsiders never understand the DiMeras. Chad thinks his girl simply saw something out of context. Kate insists the Hortons see things in black and white and this will come between them. He will only get hurt! Chad insists she is fine with his DiMeraness. Kate states the outcome is inevitable. He calls her a fatalist. She calls him naive. Chad defiantly declares that Abigail is important to him and he will not let her go! Exit Chad. - At the loft, Sami, Bo, and Hope catch up. They have the money they stole from Stefano's man. Bo tries to get a signal on the bug she planted. Sami is anxious to hear what the DiMeras are saying. They hear Stefano going through papers, maid Mary entering to dust. Marco comes in and asks to talk to the boss. Stefano has been waiting for him and asks Mary to leave them alone. She does. All of a sudden, the bug signal is lost. Meanwhile, Stefano asks where the delivery is. Marco stammers there was a complication, but he did get the message from Chad. He confessed he got jumped and the case was stolen, but this was shoved in his pocket. He hands Stefano the envelope. The phoenix orders him to get out. He apologizes and departs. Stefano pulls out the note and proceeds to read: I'm tired of your family thinking you call all the shots. I'm taking charge. Be afraid. Be very very afraid. Your loving creation, Rafael. Stefano's face darkens and he angrily crumples the note. EJ approaches Taylor at the park. He smiles and charmingly assures her he is fine. He had some things to take of before seeing her. They tenderly kiss. She is concerned about him. They sit. He is concerned about her, as she looked lost in thought when he came upon her. They hold hands. She admits she was thinking about her mother being murdered - and him. Everything bad that happened is because of Rafe Hernandez. EJ vows they will be fine. Tay has a bad feeling that something else will go wrong. He promises it will not. She smiles he must have a magic wand. He tells her that he knows for certain what the future has in store for them. - Chad runs into Abigail outside and asks her to give him a chance to explain. He thinks they were set up by someone who wanted to cause trouble for them. He promises her he will stay outside of certain things at his father's company. Abigail does not think that is possible and woefully tells him so. - Back at the loft, the gang find out Sami's bug must have fallen into the water in the vase. However, Bo and Hope remain optimistic about the plan succeeding. And once Rafe makes his final appearance, the DiMeras will not know what hit them! - Back at the mansion, Stefano gets a call that Elvis is at the park with Taylor. He is not pleased. - At the park, EJ gets down on bended knee, despite the fact that he is still in some pain. He emotionally reminds Taylor they love each other. He pulls out a ring and hopes she will agree to be his wife. Taylor blinks and swoons. EJ smiles, awaiting her reply ... Next on Days of Our Lives Roman is standing under the Hollywood sign. "I've got this idea for a screenplay!" Hope is dressed like the Black Swan ballerina."I did everything for you!" cries Maggie. "I'm prepared to pay you fifty dollars for findin the man that killed my father," drawls cute little cowgirl Mel. |
