All she wants is toxic Jen to stay away from her son as well as Daniel. Jen vows that will not happen, she will not stay away from Daniel! She decides to call and enlighten him. Chloe threatens to catch the next flight to Rio. Jen hisses he can fight for his rights but Chloe already consulted with her lawyer and he presently has no rights. They can live all over the world as he tries to find them. Jen thinks she is horrible. Chloe tells her it is up to her. Either she must stay away from Dan or live with the consequences! Jen reasons he would never believe her if she ended things with him. Chloe suggests she come up with some way to convince him. Dan now texts Jen that he is on his way. Chloe advises her to think fast and dramatically departs. At the rectory, dangerous music is heard as Vargas continues to polish his screwdriver. Hope explains she knows how strange it feels to be on the outside again and hands him Marlena’s card for someone to talk to, as well as her own cell number. He can call her anytime. Vargas assures her he is not gonna blow this opportunity he has been given. Father Eric returns and asks busy Hope where Vargas went. He was here earlier. The priest is pleased their guest is settling in well. Nick and Maggie are waiting on hungry pregnant Gabi. He gets a work text and must go to the office. He kisses his beloved and departs. The redhead notes she is patient with his hovering. She hopes she is recovered since she was in the hospital. She is. Maggie hopes Sami is also keeping her distance. She is, Nick saw to that. Gabi and Maggie put their feet up. Maggie muses with the smile she puts on Nick's face, lovely Gabi can do anything around here. Gabi feels loved and safe with her Nick. Maggie notes he feels the same way. Gabi thinks they have come a long way. Luck must be on their side. At the town square, Kate approaches Dan and Rafe with a friendly greeting. Dan uncomfortably hands Rafe back her bracelet and excuses himself. Kate is aghast. Rafe goes after Dan and catches up with him at the gate. He explains he and Kate are ... well, they do not want anyone to know as things are complicated. Dan thinks he should be careful with that one. Rafe realizes she has a past. Dan muses a happy Kate would make the world a safer place. However, he advises him to be careful, promises to keep his silence, and goes on his way. Vargas flashes back to warning Nick he would owe him one day as he walks through the town square trying to act natural. Rafe goes back to diva Kate and assures her Dan was sworn to secrecy. She wants them to be more careful. Rafe grins they will be. Maybe he should give her back her bracelet in private. He arranges to meet her after work at his place. But before he walks off, footsteps are heard. A suited figure arrives. Tis Stefano, who takes in the sight of the pair standing together! Nick stops at the town gate and gets off the phone with the IT team. "Hello Nikki!" calls out Vargas. He grins at his old cellmate and tightens his grasp on the big wrench he is carrying. Nick freezes. Nancy is on the phone with Chloe, who assures her mom that Jen knows she has to break up with Daniel. Now it is up to her ... Jen is crying when her doorbell rings. She wipes away her tears, fixes her blonde hair and her pink sweater and opens the door to Daniel. He bears a bouquet of spring flowers, his eyes filled with love ...
