A couple of months ago his life seemed hopeless, yet now here he is. He tenderly touches her face and calls her the most beautiful woman he has ever known. He cannot believe his good fortune. She feels lucky too. He appreciates that she does not judge him, she accepts who he is and who he could be. Perhaps he is too sappy, but he feels she is a gift. She feels the same way about him. She never imagined she could be happy again. It means a great deal to her that they are on the same page. It almost seems too wonderful to be real. Nick the genius decides to show her how real they are another time … Stefano (heard, though unseen) calls Kristen and asks how she is progressing. Slowly but surely. He wants an update on EJ. She is making headway. Chad? She is working on that one. She informs him she did receive his email. He wonders whether the message has been delivered. Not yet. He wants it done by tomorrow but loyal Kristen thinks she can make it a reality by tonight! Sonny enters his apartment with a sigh. Will follows closely behind. He stares at him rather strangely. Sonny wonders what is the matter. Will starts to kiss him and unbutton his shirt. Sonny stops him and would like to know what is wrong. Will insists that he just wants him and tries to continue, but without success. Sonny is serious. He suspects this is about something Lucas said. Will suddenly asks if he is the first guy he has ever brought to his place. No. Will would like to know if he slept with Brian. Sonny replies no he did not and he is not going to sleep with him either. Will muses he cannot get an answer? Sonny is upset that he was asking for his father, not really for himself. He naturally would have answered his questions but all he did was try and have sex with him. Then when he wanted to stop, he hammered him with more questions about who he had been with. Will is filled with remorse and apologizes. Sonny repeats to leave. Will uncertainly suggests they talk it over, though Sonny is already offended. He snaps this whole thing has been a mistake. Will numbly leaves in tears. Back at the house, Jen sighs she and Daniel were starting something so special but then Jack reappeared and she chose him. She stares at an old picture. Hope reminds her Jack was the father of her children and she loved him. Jen sadly recalls how hard it was for Dan to give up surgery after he had saved her. Now he is trying to save her again and he really needs her! Victor agrees he can take care of Maggie, even though it is not easy seeing her upset. Dan loves her and wants her to remember that. Victor gets emotional that he was used to having his godson around as part of his life. Dan assures him he will be a part of their lives no matter where in the world he is. Nicole has just finished telling Sami about EJ not accepting that the fall was an accident. She fears what is coming next. Sami warns her EJ will not give up. Nicole now reminds her she has a hold on EJ. Sami is EJ’s kryptonite, his obsession. She begs for her help. Sami suddenly realizes something is not adding up. First Nicole claimed Jen pushed her, then suddenly decided it was an accident? She knows her! If she for a minute thought Jen caused her to lose her baby, she would hunt her down and make her pay! However, if she was aware the whole time that she was not to blame, maybe she set her up to take the fall as she hates her. Nicole denies she could do such a thing. She sneakily adds this favor will benefit Sami, as she hates her relationship with Sydney. If she leaves Salem, she will be out of Sydney’s life for good. Nick wants to stay in bed with Gabi forever. The talk soon turns to his job offer from Kate. He is not sure he could ever get used to the idea of working for that lady. Kate is checking her phone outside, surrounded by pretty autumn trees. She is surprised to be approached by Kristen, who pleasantly announces she bears a message from Stefano. For her! Kate blinks. Jen stares out the window. Hope attempts to cheer up her cousin with ice cream. No luck. Jen unhappily realizes she must withdraw. She did all that she could and yet Daniel insisted on running away with Nicole. Her heart is breaking. At the nurse’s station, busy Dr. Dan does not want nurse Maxine to keep talking about missing him. She teases she has one last favor to do her favorite medicine man. His necklace is in the lost and found, so she will go pick it up. Sami demands Nicole come clean about what is really going on.Then and only then will she make any kind of deal. Nicole tries to stop her from leaving. “Aloha!” quips Sami and she walks out. Nicole flashes back to losing her baby, how unfair it was. She breaks down in tears. Maxine enters the hospital lost and found and picks up Dan’s bagged necklace. He follows her in and she hands it to him. Dan opens the bag, then suddenly spies the half of Nicole’s distinct baby outfit at the top of a pile. He flashes back to seeing the matching part among Nicole’s purchases for baby. He slowly takes it in his hand and reads the tag attached, indicating exactly when it was found in Exam Room B. Something is amiss ...! END |
