He places an arm around her and she implores him not to do anything suddenly. He promises. Exit the tearful redhead. Dan decides to call Rafe and reaches for his phone. He leaves a message to give him a call … Knock knock knock! Tis downtrodden Nicole with her belongings. He is surprised to see her. Nicole sighs Jen is freaking out. She had her bags packed and then threatened to stop her by standing in front of the car. The widow Jen is crazy and they need to get out of Salem now! - Bo assures confused Caroline it is alright as she merely mixed up the dates. She denies it. He reminds her Lexie is dead and it could not have been the other day that they spoke. Caroline exclaims she knows that and he ruined a sweet story. Bo humors her and asks how she is feeling. She is fine. The only problem is the mess Gabi and Nick left behind. She starts to clean away dishes. Bo wants to give her a hand. She snaps this is her place and what she does, then drops the tray. The glasses fall to the floor and shatter, taking some of Caroline’s peace of mind with them. - Kate follows Nick all the way home to the Kiriakis mansion and she insists he should run her lab of synthetic organics. He is one of the few researchers who has that experience. Nick realizes she used to own Countess W and now intends to kill the competition. Kate has assured him the matter of his being in prison for murder is trivial. She just wants the genius in him for corporate purposes at Mad World. - Nicole pushes Dan to leave for Utah right away. Easier said than done. He needs to go to work. She suggests he call the hospital and stammers Jen made her nervous. She wants to get away from EJ, Jen, from all of them. How much time will he need? Dan sighs a week, maybe more … - Back at the coffee house, Chad impatiently states now is not a good time. Abigail haughtily argues that one cannot be a friend only when it happens to be convenient, like everyone else. He warns her to stay out of it. She demands to know if he beat up Nick because of Mel. Chad refuses to discuss and further irks the upset girl by walking away and dismissing her. - Bored Nick checks his mail. Kate, who will not be deterred, follows him inside and boasts she will make Mad World succeed. Nick is no fool. He knows that her arch enemy Sami Brady now runs Countess W. And he sees exactly what she is doing. She assures him she is not asking him to do anything illegal and urges him to think about it. He muses she knows the way out. - Caroline looks down at the broken glass on the floor. Bo wants to help clean up but she starts to scream at SHAWN that she can handle this. He begs her to look at him. She does, blinks, and softly says his name. “Bo”. - Jen paces and wonders whether Dan and Nicole will drive or fly to their destination, Brady begs her to stop. She rages she will not let it go. Brady thinks the time has come to attend a bereavement meeting. She cries she could not save her husband but she will save Daniel! She whips out the phone book and vows to call the airline as soon as she gets her phone! - Nicole moans a whole week? Dan repeats he must give notice at the hospital. He warns her that EJ will know he is the father of her baby the minute they invoke the Utah custody law. If they leave Rafe behind with no warning, he will be hung out to dry. She disagrees. Dan notes she is far along and needs to be checked out by an OBGYN before traveling. Nicole sadly sits down and snaps there is no time. He wonders why not. Because her survival instinct knows they must leave now or it could be too late ...! END |
