Caroline admits she is relieved she said out loud what she is afraid of. She is lucky that the three of them are in this fight together. Family hug! But Caroline’s eye mirror her worry. - Jen stares at the yellow police tape and laments to Billie she is going crazy. Billie will call Brady for an update. Jen sits and prays to God to let the baby be alright. - At the hospital waiting area. Brady updates Maggie and Victor on what he saw. Jen is with the police at present. Maggie stares. She cannot believe it! Brady now gets a call from Billie, asking for the latest. He states Nicole is as fine as one can expected … Billie assumes the baby did not survive. Brady unhappily confirms it and promises to call her if he has anything else. Billie returns to Jennifer, not sure what to say. - Roman approaches Brady and would like his version of what happened. - Dan does not understand. Nicole repeats she was pushed. “She did it. Jennifer, she pushed me down the stairs!” Dan is stunned into silence. - John and Marlena sit at a red table with their coffees and discuss the latest. Sami and Rafe’s reconciliation, among other things, has made them feel optimistic. The future looks bright. John toasts to smooth sailing and they seal it with a supercouple kiss. - Back on the European continent, Stefano argues Kristen is allowing the past to cloud her future with her family. She makes a comment about Brad the newest addition. He corrects her that her newest brother is Chad. He wants her to think about his idea. She does not need to give it a second thought. “The answer is no!” she pouts. - Brady is ready to give his statement. He admits to Commissioner Roman he heard the loud arguing and then Nicole fell down the stairs. This is not the first time the two women have fought. One time Jen made a scene and called Nicole a disgusting bitch. Roman would like to know if there is anything else. Brady sighs there is and flashes back to Nicole leaving the house, where he had heard much commotion. Nicole had warned him to keep crazy Jen away from her. He notes he then spoke to Jen. Roman adds the paramedics said Nicole claimed Jen pushed her. Did he hear that too? He did indeed and wants to know if that means criminal … Roman cannot discuss that with him but solemnly thanks him for the help and saunters off. - Billie must tell Jen that Nicole’s baby was stillborn. Jen is reduced to tears. - Dan gently tells Nicole she has been through hell. Perhaps she does not realize what she is saying. She insists she does and Jen pushed her. “She killed my baby! Jennifer killed my baby!” - Caroline informs her two children she remembered something Shawn once said and it has given her much comfort. One must accept the cards one is dealt. She decides to get back to the pub she wants to run. Kayla will have the test results for her shortly. Bo and Kay console each other. - Nicole hopes Dan believes her. Before Daniel can answer, they are interrupted by Dr. Cam, who would like to examine the patient. Daniel promises to come back and quietly takes his leave. - Rafe and Sami have returned home from their date. She wants to say something but he drawls they can talk later. They passionately kiss … - Dan joins Brady, Maggie and Victor. Brady asks how Nicole is. She is shattered. He now notes she is saying Jennifer pushed her down the stairs. Maggie insists she would never do such a thing. Brady, however, heard Jen screaming just before Nicole took her tragic tumble. Victor wonders if he believes Nicole might actually be telling the truth in this case. Brady’s eyes darken. “Yes!” - Cam has given Nicole a sedative and thinks it is best she get some rest. Once alone, Nicole cries what will she do without her sweet baby. She turns over on her side and continues crying. - Jen is in shock and weeps she did not mean to hurt the precious little baby, she only wanted Nicole to get away from her. Billie is sympathetic. Roman now approaches and laments he has no choice. “Jennifer Horton, you are under arrest for the murder of Nicole Walker’s unborn child.” Jen cannot believe what is happening and covers her crying face as he continues to read the unfortunate widow her rights.
