She wants the frazzled girl to calm down and stop fearing the worst. Abigail exclaims this is the worst! Her father is dead and her mom is in jail accused of murder! - Dan explains he has heard the statements of others, but he is seeking an explanation from Jen. He does not know how it happened. She does and he implores her to tell him. Jennifer quietly cries. He informs her that Billie and Brady have spoken to him. She agrees they are both trustworthy people. Dan is desperate to put two opposing thoughts together. He heard things about her that make no sense. He knows her! She laments facts are still facts and he is a doctor. He points out he does not yet know the facts. Jen notes one fact is that she is sick with sorrow about what happened to Nicole’s baby but she realizes he seeks answers about what happened on the stairs. He emphatically whispers he does. She stammers it was confusing and fast but … Brady and Billie are saying what they saw and heard. However, when she relives the moment it is not like that. She simply could not do such a thing and she would not! She begs him to believe her. Dan observes her through the bars. - Nicole cries to Rafe she is so sorry. He is too and stays at her side, his back to the semi-open door. She is grateful her loyal friend is here. The three of them were a team, in it together. She recalls how they loved her baby. Rafe does not deny it. Nicole sniffles that after losing Parker, she is sure Dan was excited that it would be a boy. He must be heartbroken. - Kristen finally admits to Stefano she is listening to the voice inside her head. He would like to know what it is saying. “You won as usual!” He gleefully hands her a brand new passport and she teases he does not miss a thing. He suggests they arrive in town separately. She can go ahead, as he has some business to take care of on the continent. Kristin smugly states she is sure there are certain Salemites who were counting on the fact that they had seen the very last of her! Stefano gives her a knowing look ... - John tensely paces the coffee house and Marlena wonders what he was discussing with Sonny. Sonny had a promotional idea about people speaking about their pasts. She is curious what he thought. John drawls it did not interest him for he is only looking to the future now! He raises an eyebrow and they exit together, arm in arm. - Jen gasps Daniel is freaking her out. He starts to walk away and then stops, Jen sniffles and cries. He turns back and approaches her cell, looking deeply into her eyes. “I do not believe you could have done this!” She whispers why. “Because you said you didn’t and you don’t lie.” Jen blinks. - Sami leaves an anxious message for Rafe at the hospital pretending to be excited about Nicole’s baby coming. She hopes he will call her. - In Nicole’s room, Rafe gently broaches the subject of him pretending to be the baby’s father. Nicole wonders what if they tell the truth now. Rafe drawls EJ will have a fit. Nicole agrees they have to keep lying about this. EJ must keep believing Rafe is the baby’s father! EJ, meanwhile, has just arrived, overheard the telling exchange, and silently snarls outside the door. There will be consequences ... END |
