They pleasantly depart. Gabi wonders what is bothering Nick. He admits he was caught off guard that she dated Will and he is gay. Gabi insists she is happy for him and that he now knows who he is. She considers Sonny amazing. Nick agrees he is nice. Gabi decides to take their empty coffee cops away. Meanwhile, Nick stares strangely at Sonny and Will reading an outdoor menu, their arms draped around each other. Gabi comes back and informs Nick she should go, as she needs to hit the books. He offers to walk her back. She thinks they should just call it a night. She had fun. He asks if they can do it again soon. She gushes in agreement and he gives the object of his affection a tender goodnight kiss on the lips. - Bo grudgingly confesses he is holding out on Hope, due to a promise that he made to his mother. He does not wish to anger Caroline. Hope is sympathetic. However, he looks like he needs to talk. Bo now updates her on how Caroline got angry and mistook him for pop. Eventually the cloud lifted and then she acted lost. It was as if she was slipping away while standing before him. Hope cries and hugs the big guy. - EJ looks numbly at sleeping Nicole and hits the record button of his iphone. He holds the phone behind his back, slips in, and says Nicole’s name. She calls him Rafe. He enlightens her. “No, love. It’s me.” The Salem patient’s eyes fly open She weakly begs EJ not to bother her now. He explains he already heard, and he understands. He does not wish to fight. He just has one thing to say and sits at her side. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Nicole’s red eyes cry more tears. - Sami is about to head out again when Rafe returns. She shouts did she have the baby? No. He sits and sighs she lost it. Sami is shocked. Rafe laments he did not make it. Sami is sorry and hugs him. He kisses her hand and presses it against his face. Sami notes Nicole has lost another child. Rafe drawls she is a wreck. Sami reminds him she is tough. She caresses Rafe’s head and comforts him. He can tell her anything. She holds him tight and keeps consoling him. Sami kisses his face and whispers she is so sorry for his pain. Rafe kisses her on the lips as things heat up ... - Roman embraces his mother and asks her not to do any more tests without telling him. She agrees and wonders if he wants his order to stay or to go.. He will take that chicken order to go. Caroline walks off to pack it. Roman sits down at Kayla’s table and confesses he is not even hungry. “What the hell!” He woefully shakes his head. “Ma can’t have Alzheimer’s!” Once he is gone, Caroline returns to Dr. Kayla with a question. “How soon can I start treatment?” She assumes there will be medication and treatment and wants to begin immediately. Kayla reminds her she must get an MRI and other tests but Caroline would rather not waste any time. She needs her daughter to be straight with her. How much time will drugs buy her before her mind is gone? - EJ sits at Nicole’s side and smoothly tells her how sorry he was that he was not here for her the last time it happened. However, he is here now. Nicole cries she lost her baby. EJ asks about who pushed her down a flight of stairs. That crazy Jennifer Horton, who hates her! EJ declares he will make her pay dearly for what she has done. And he means it! He growls he will make the evil Jennifer Horton regret the day she was born! Nicole murmurs that is sweet and thanks him. He assures her he will have justice for his son. “Nicole, I heard you and Rafe earlier. I was coming in here … I heard you talking about keeping up the lie.” She interrupts it was not what he thinks but he notes it matters not. They lost a child today. He begs her to tell him it was his child so that they can grieve together. That is all he wants. Nicole is not unaffected by his tragic sincerity, unaware that her every word she says is being recorded to use as evidence ... END |
