| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Tuesday, October 2, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! LOVE AND LUNACY - Part 2 - Sami stammers about EJ and Chad being in the hallway. Is everything okay? She sees things are intense. EJ covers that they are new to this brother thing. Sami is not sure what to say and decides to go back to her place. Chad is sorry. Sami makes a joke about her notorious meltdowns, encourages the young man to hang in there, and quietly disappears into her apartment. EJ informs his bother he is sorry if he at times seems cold, but he has his best interest at heart and always has his back. He advises him to go home and rest, not talk to the police. Chad wants to know why not. He becomes suspicious that EJ has an agenda. “What are you up to?” EJ plays innocent. - Rafe sighs there is no chance in hell that he will end up with Sami. He hopes Nicole is satisfied and walks off. He will be in touch with Daniel regarding the plan. - Jen is a nervous wreck when she walks into the town square. Nicole approaches her. - Gabi enters the pub with a warm smile for Nick. Maggie notices and teases Nick about it. He is still a tad glum about being attacked. Maggie assures him this will die down with Chad but Nick reasons Chad must blame him for Melanie leaving. Maggie is later seated at a table and thanks Caroline for hiring Nick. The matriarch snaps he is an apprentice dishwasher, that’s all, and gets back to the kitchen. Maggie now teases Nick he is winning Caroline over and doing well. One day at a time. He sighs about the other situation. Maggie becomes irate over what Chad did and insists if he attacks him again, he tell her about it. She eventually takes her leave. Meanwhile, Gabi talks to Caroline about Mel going to her mother in Spain. She assumes Maggie misses her already. Caroline makes a comment about wishing she could just hate that woman, who married her Shawn, but she is too nice to hate! Gabi points out Maggie married Victor Kiriakis. “I know!” snaps cranky Caroline. She announces she is going for a walk to clear her confused head. - Chad removes EJ’s insincere hands from his shoulders and wants to know why he insists on protecting the sister of a man he happens to loathe. EJ flashes back to blackmailing Rafe to give up Samantha - to him. He now grins and assures Chad he only cares about him. He talks about fatha saying one needs to be five steps ahead. He suggests when Mel comes back, she will not forget what Chad did. If she finds out he put Gabi in prison, it will not help his reconciliation attempt. Chad snaps he wanted to protect Mel and that is the truth. Elvis thinks the truth is subjective and not so important. He urges his bothered bother to rest and do nothing for now. “Go home, get some sleep.” Chad reluctantly agrees and EJ shoos him away to rest. He returns to Sami’s apartment. She is curious about Chad. EJ is more concerned about her. She has work to do but EJ announces she needs fresh air and takes her out for a walk. - Dan returns home and gloomily gets a bottle, pouring himself a good stiff drink. He pauses and walks toward a photo of himself with daughter Melanie. Happier times. Nervous knocking is heard at the door. Tis Maggie, who wonders if it is a bad time. Her drawls that misery loves company and they sit together. He misses Mel. So does she. He notes it is raining in Barcelona and is glad he made her take an umbrella. She hopes she will be back but in the meantime, they can skype and text. They admit they both skyped this morning. Papa Dan knows he is being selfish, for she needs this time away. Maggie shares how she talked about him all the way to the airport She considers him a great man ... Dan mutters not everyone thinks so. He laments it is hard. Jen has been trying to fix things but should really fix things for herself. He intentionally severed their ties and was brutal. Maggie suspects it has something to do with Nicole. Dan admits he had to get Nicole out of that house, for the sake of Jen and her family and also keep Jen away. He pushed her away on purpose and it almost killed him! Maggie gives him a very sympathetic glance. - Nicole calls Jen honey and condescendingly hopes she is not on the verge of another meltdown. Jen hisses she would not waste it on Nicole, she would save it on Daniel, like she implies, to manipulate him. Nicole leers she should not have said anything. Jen explains she had a meltdown because her husband died. She accuses Nicole of twisting things around to suit her own purpose. She knows she considers her a threat to her and Daniel and she is not wrong about that! Nicole suggests she is having a tough time coping with her loss, when Nicole has everything. Jen gets sarcastic about Daniel’s sweet story. She hopes they will stay happy. Nicole boasts they will. Jen wants to know what she really saw in him. She suspects it was the fact that he could doctor paternity results. Nicole calls her a bitch. Jen remarks she just might not be the creampuff she thought her to be after all! She might have underestimated her. And that makes her a stupid bitch! Nicole laughs. Caroline stops and stares at the scene unfolding. - Chad goes home and finds the envelope from Mel. It contains the engagement ring and a handwritten note. He yells and throws the ring against the walk, crumples the letter, yells again, and storms off. He is out for blood! - Back at the pub, Nick asks Gabi if she has found a lawyer. Her brother got her one. Nick assures her everything will be fine. And it is cool she has her brother. She thanks him, then realizes his headache has come back. She offers to take care of everything and tells him to go home. Nick exits in a hurry. - Rafe watches through the coffee house window as he listens to Gabi’s desperate message. Sami and EJ are sitting cozily at a table together. After muttering his sister will not go to jail, he watches EJ touch Sami’s hair. Inside, Sami wonders why EJ is being so nice. “I love you. I always have loved you. I always will.” Sami looks into his eyes. - Maggie points out that it must have hurt Daniel to make Jen hate him because he still loves her. He would rather not talk about it. Maggie knows not what is happening with him and Nicole, but that is one mess. Dan does not deny it. The redhead points out Jen has grieving to do but perhaps she is upset and worried because she really cares for him. She is just sayin! Exit the redhead. - Nicole dares creampuff Jen to be mad at her if she needs to be mad at someone. Jen rages she used everything and everyone to keep Dan away from her and now she is using him and ruining his life. She vows to make her pay! Nicole takes a defiant step forward. Caroline is still watching. - Gabi calls after Nick that he forgot his jacket but the loyal genius seems to be long gone. Enter raging Chad DiMera.They are all alone in the pub. He threatens to hurt her. "Just like you hurt me!" - Sami explains she knows that EJ loves her. She whispers she has to figure out ... "How you feel about me," finishes EJ. Enter Rafe. Sami notices. He slams the door behind himself and stares darkly at the pair... END |
