She flashes back to renewing her wedding vows with Rafe, how he promised she was his everything … Sami blinks back to her empty reality, then keeps walking, until she bumps into … Rafe! He prevents her from spilling her coffee on him. Their eyes lock. She lets out a sigh. Back at Horton house, Jen is uncommunicative, but Lucas and Hope press her to tell them about Daniel. He saved her life and she cares about what happens to him. She knows Dan feels the same way. She was warning him that EJ knows he is the father, but he was already aware of it. In fact, he was strangely calm about the whole thing, almost as if he knew something more … Back in her hospital room, Nicole impatiently exclaims she knows Dan has feelings for Jennifer but he claims it is not mutual. She is mourning Jack. Nicole notes that feelings are feelings. The medicine man does not wish to pine after that which he cannot have. They are moving on and there is something between them they can keep building on. However, he hopes she will be able to accept that he still has residual feelings for another. Needy Nicole decides she will be, provided Jen is halfway across the country. She will try and help him forget her. Dan thinks that is great and takes her hands. There is just one condition. He knows in his heart that Jen was not guilty of any crime and so ... Nicole realizes he means he will leave Salem and start a new life with her ONLY if she drops the charges against Jen. He nods in agreement and anxiously awaits her reply ... END |
