They expect to see things running the way they should be, with her in action. “This is where you belong.” Caroline smiles and admits she tells some of them off when they do not tip the servers enough. Hope insists everyone loves her. Bo agrees. Family hug! Caroline finally agrees “Let’s give it a try.” - EJ congratulates Kristen for figuring out his end game. She wants in. He pours himself more coffee and advises her to leave his plan to him. She begs to differ. She would see through his plan in a heartbeat, as a woman. He suggests Samantha would not and suspects she is merely trying to insert herself into his scenario. She reminds him she is his sister. He wonders what she wants to do. She will take care of the situation with Sami. EJ reasons she did terrible things to Samantha’s motha and would not even be able to get a moment of Sami’s time. But Kristen claims to know a way to make her get close to him again. “I give you my word.” - Rafe is at his place with Gabi, explaining what really happened. He was trying to help the unborn child. Gabi now realizes why Sami is so mad at him. He sighs he lied to her again and again and again. - Sami ignores a message from her mother and tells the visitor knocking at her door to go away, assuming it is Rafe. She eventually opens the door to Kristen, then runs to the phone to call the cops. Kristen takes the phone away and sweetly smiles they have catching up to do! - At the pub, Bo thanks Hope for getting through to his ma. She gushes they are a team. They love each other. Hope is sorry about his mom and hugs him. She knows he had other plans when he left the force. He assures her the cop in him will not give up on his project to bring down those dastardly DiMeras …. Kayla interrupts with news. She has found a way to help Caroline! They are all ears. She informs Bo they must be cautious with how they tell ma, but she has found an excellent program that does clinical trials, advanced diagnostics, and is very cutting edge. They would design something specifically for Caroline. However, there is a snag. It a time commitment and also happens to be halfway across the country. They turn and watch Caroline interacting with one of her happy regulars. - Back at the coffee house, Chad repeats to Abigail how very sorry he is about her mother and also for unburdening himself to her. She smiles they are friends. Perhaps next time he can tell her a little about what happened with Melanie. Chad grins but will make no promises. Exit Abigail, flinching for a moment when she almost bumps into the next arrival. Enter the next arrival. Tis suited hoodlum Howard, EJ’s not so honest "consultant." He approaches Chad and solemnly asks him to let brother EJ know he is in his thoughts concerning the miscarriage, the loss of his baby. Chad stares in shock. EJ was the father? This is the first he has heard of it! - Now alone, EJ sits back down at his desk and places a call to papa Stefano, who was wondering when he would hear from him! EJ coldly requests he order Kristen to back off. Stefano notes she has the power to help the family but EJ begs to differ. Their family is ruined. Stefano disagrees. They are not rrrruined. EJ reminds him he wants nothing to do with him or his designated agents. “Tell her to back off now!” - Kristen promises suspicious Sami she means no harm. Sami makes a snide remark about her psychotic ways. She has some nerve showing her face in town after the reign of terror she inflicted upon her mother and others! Kristen muses she is one to talk. Sami threatens to remove her from her apartment and then she will never deal with her again. Kristen calmly explains she has no choice. She has to deal with her. - Gabi thinks Nicole must be upset. Rafe agrees. It is not fair. They now discuss Sami. Gabi points out Sami has lied to him too so she should forgive him. Rafe laments he always seems to lose with Sami and shakes his woeful head. “It’s over.” - Sami haughtily claims she is busy as she has a company to run. Kristen holds up the financial statements for Countess W. She accuses her of practically running it into the ground. How predictable. Sami demands to know how she got her hands on those statements, as they are supposed to be confidential. Kristen smugly states it was forwarded to her mailbox, as everything should be. “I’m your new boss,” she purrs. Sami gasps ... END |
