He wants to hear more about what happened. Marlena recounts how her phone went missing but the secretary said she found it in the waiting room. They agree this is too much to be a mere coincidence. Brady acknowledges she has John and can take care of herself but reminds her that he is here in the event that she should need him. Marlena marvels he is just like his overprotective dad and decides to give her man a call. John answers and she asks where he is. John starts to tell her he is at the square when the connection is suspiciously lost. Marlena is on her way. Brady once more reminds her they are all looking out for her. She thanks him and departs with a smile. Meanwhile. Kristen says a sweet goodbye to the mother and daughter, and gets a determined look in her eye … - Bo has just updated Abe on his trip to California with Caroline. Abe is sympathetic. He considers it a real honor to call him his friend. He is a good man. He wishes him well and embraces him warmly. “Thanks man,” replies Bo, a tear in his eye. - Chez Sonny, Will is folding the costumes. Sony thanks him for the help and opens a box. Will thinks this is a great thing he is doing. Halloween meant so much to him. Sonny notes he rarely talks about his childhood. Will admits he felt like a prize caught in the middle of his parents’ lives. He was shuffled around and his bags were always packed. Sonny hopes he now feels he belongs somewhere and gives him a tender kiss. - Sami laments to Uncle Bo she will miss grandma Caroline. He assures his niece she will miss her and the kids too. Sami sighs she always lifted her spirits. And she always sees the good in her. She is curious about how it all started. Bo recalls the story of her forgetting Lexie was dead, then screaming at him, assuming that he was pop. He is relieved she no longer remembers that episode. So is Sami! Bo admits it was tough getting the confirmation from Kayla. Sami hopes the treatment will make her life better and praises Bo for going with her. At least that way she will not be afraid. - Marlena greets John at the town square with a friendly BOO. Brady was looking for him. She wonders what he has been up to. Before they can discuss, she gets a call and must step away. John decides to call Brady. Before he can, Kristen happily approaches and asks what he is still doing here. Marlena spies them together and jealously stares. Kristen informs him she left her number with the little girl’s mother. Marlena walks back and now hears what happened from Kristen, who gushes John was sooooo amazing! - Gabi and Nick stroll through the pretty park. She assures him that she did not mean to imply there was anything wrong with being quiet. She likes being with him, even when they are quiet together. He grins he likes being with her too and suddenly kisses her. He stops. She asks what is the matter. Nick remarks he wants her to do this for the right reasons and not because she feels she owes him for helping her out. She blushes she is kissing him cos he is amazing and he likes who she is. She has waited long to feel that way about someone. Ring ring! Mrs. Brady has summoned her for a talk so Nick offers to walk her back to the pub. She would like that! - Will and Sonny are sitting with funny Groucho Marx glasses on as Will recounts his Halloween help from Caroline. She once made him reconsider when his costume was over the top. Sonny teases and dares him to share. Will grins it was like Elton John 1970s.Sonny asks if he even knew who Elton John was. Nope. He settled for a character from In Synch, Sonny jumps up and playfully sprays him with silly string. Will wrestles the string away and they start to kiss. And kiss and kiss. Sonny stops and asks Will if he is sure. “VERY!” exclaims Will. They put their arms around each other as they continue kissing, and Sonny inches them toward the big bed ... - Sami gets off the phone after telling the person at the other end they must find him and tell him. She now wonders where Caroline is. Bo explains she is on the phone with Kimberly. Sami intends to go online and find out as much as possible. Bo is upbeat about the cutting edge clinic. Sami laments but there is no cure. Bo admits that is true, though having a friend around makes a big difference. Sami declares they are lucky to have him and throws her arms around her uncle for the last time. She breaks down as they embrace. - Brady is on his phone calling for information on one Kristen DiMera. Turns out she is staying at the Salem Inn. Brady does not wish to leave a message. He will be in touch with her soon. - Back at the town square, Kristen thanks John for his help, calls him fantastic, and says a charming goodbye to Marlena. John does not want the blonde to be bothered but Marlena is already decidedly miffed. “How could you not tell me you were with that woman!” she accuses. John shakes his head with a sigh, not sure how to explain his way out of this one ... END |
