| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Monday, October 29, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! COMPLICATED - Part 2 - Bo is at the coffee house to pick up some coffee for himself and Caroline. Billie approaches to wish him well on his journey. Daughter Chelsea wished she could have been there. She suspects his heart is breaking but Bo retains his positive demeanor. He is upbeat about the treatment for his ma. She asks him to take care of himself and hugs him, wishing him safe travels. He thanks her. Exit Billie. Moments later, Marlena and John approach, having tracked him down. Marlena whispers their thoughts are with him and they embrace. John observes, a tear in his eye. - At the pub, Caroline does not want Will to dare say he is sorry! He confesses he will miss her like crazy. “Back at you!” says the feisty matriarch. She urges him to smile and count his blessings and his joys. Will wonders what the blessing in this is. She explains her family is there for her and they are praying. Where there is faith, there is hope. Will calls her the boss and agrees. They emotionally hug. Gabi watches. Caroline has another blessing to count. HIM! She has not seen him this happy for a while. She wants him to keep it up. Will nods. - Sonny offers to tell Lucas everything, if he is really ready to hear it. Lucas accuses him of psychoanalyzing. Sonny accuses him of treating Will like a child. Lucas does not approve of how things are progressing. He threw his support behind their relationship,assuming they were taking it slow and now here they are with the bed messed up! His son is still struggling to deal with who he is. Sonny disagrees. Lucas insists he is not ready for this. Sonny argues they have known each other over a year.He wonders if Lucas would have the same reaction if he were a girlfriend. He suspects he would encourage his son to go for it, not react in this manner. Lucas denies the charge. He reasons his son has always been reluctant to jump into things. He reminds Sonny that 6 months ago, Will was about to move in with Gabi. He was confused. Sonny quips he is no longer confused. He questions whether Lucas wants his son to be happy, given how he made him feel today. Lucas will hear none of it and warns him he will never let anyone come between his and his son’s relationship. Sonny assures him that no one will come between him and Will - except Lucas himself. He shows him to the door. - Sami starts to walk away from Rafe but he stops her and insists he only wanted to let her know he heard about grandma Caroline. They will all miss her, especially the kids. Sami agrees she was the one stable person in their lives. Rafe adds that Caroline said she was worried about Sami. He is too! - Bo enjoys coffee at a table with John and Marlena. Marlena had no idea what was happening with Caroline. Bo teases she is not a psychic. John can relate to what Caroline is going through. The former pawn remembers only too well what it is like to have a mind that feels like a blank slate. Bo assures them his stubborn ma will be back in action soon. Marlena thinks Bo is a gift on his mother’s journey. “That’s fact,” drawls John. Marlena must step away to take an incoming call. John now says what is on his mind. He suspects Bo’s real reason for leaving the force was something else … - Back at the pub, Gabi and Nick approach teary-eyed Will and she asks if he is alright. She assures him that Caroline always seems to be in control so it is not so dismal. Nick suggests they pray the treatment will work. Will decides to go for a walk. Nick earnestly says to take care, while Gabi reminds him she is only a text away. Will thanks them both and quietly walks out. Nick recalls to Gabi how much Caroline has done for him. And if not for her, he would not have met Gabi. Billie suddenly arrives at the pub and presents Nick with an envelope. She suggests he open it for he will be pleasantly surprised. It is a job offer, as she is working with her mother. Nick is amused. She wants him to think it over and departs. Gabi encourages him to open the offer. He does and they read it together. Gabi marvels it is so much more than he makes washing dishes here. He has reservations about trusting Kate. Gabi understands but she seemed great when she worked for her. She now mentions that he and Billie seemed to already be acquainted. He teases her not to be jealous and they embrace. - Bo talks budget cuts at the force changing things. John deduces it was the push he needed to quit. He can relate as they have both been fighting DiMera for years. Bo sighs he believed they almost had him last time. They get back to the topic of Caroline, who lives the life of an angel, always respecting the rules. Bo roguishly refers to bending the rules. John is intrigued. “So you’re not giving up!” Bo confides he does have a plan, but for now, he must take care of ma. John lets him know that whenever he is ready to go after DiMera, he will have his back. Bo grins. - Sami stammers with worry about Caroline not remembering or not coming back. She cries there is no cure for Alzheimer’s and her grandma might become a stranger. She is the only person in her life who never gave up on her. Rafe whispers she is not the only person and gets closer. - Bo thanks John for his support. Marlena hugs him. John sincerely wishes his "brother" luck and shakes his hand. Bo appreciates having people he can count on but the time has come to go. And so he saunters out in his cool black leather jacket. - Marlena decides she wants to talk to Kayla about Caroline’s treatment. John drawls he believes in miracles and tenderly kisses the blonde. He is late for a meeting. He realizes she is still upset and promises her he is taking the situation with Kristen very seriously. She is relieved. They exchange I love yous and he tells her he will see her soon. - Outside the pub, Billie is on the phone with Kate. She gave him the letter, yes she did. Once the call is over, Lucas comes around the corner. He complains bitterly about finding Will at Sonny’s place. Billie is baffled as he had said they were good together. Lucas declares he has since changed his mind. Sonny Kiriakis is using Will and he is not going to let him get away with it! - Sonny and Will sit on a bench by the town square gate and discuss Caroline. Sonny muses she gets her cup of Kona coffee from him every morning, a secret they share. Will drapes his arm around his shoulders and apologizes for his dad. He regrets leaving them alone together. Sonny claims it was no big deal and everything is cool. He asks him to tell him more about where Caroline is going. They hold hands. - Sami backs away from Rafe. How could he say such a thing! He gave up on them and did not trust her. It still hurts just to look at him! Rafe sighs he is sorry but Sami wants him to explain. How could he claim to love her and then hurt her like that! She loved him! Rafe declares he did love her more than anything or anyone in the whole wide world and nothing has changed. "I love you!" he exclaims. - Sami's eyes are filled with emotion ... END |
