SHOWDOWN - Part 2 - Nicole huddles on Dan’s leather sofa and dreams of their Hawaiian life, wondering if it would work … Shirtless Dan wakes her up with a kiss and breathes happy anniversary. They left Salem exactly one year ago. Birds chirp in the background and waves are heard lapping up at the shore. Nicole gushes they should take their coffee to the beach. He has a present for her and caresses her as she opens it. Tis the mommy keychain. He grins the adoption agency called. She is thrilled to hear it. He announces they are going to be parents and it IS happening. Nicole marvels she loves him and they kiss and embrace as her ring sparkles. She smiles and comes back to reality, wiggling her naked ring finger. This could work after all! - Maggie and Jen know Daniel must have made a deal with Nicole and he does not even love her! Jen insists they simply must stop him. Maggie wonders how. Jen cannot change his mind but there is still someone he will listen to! - Marlena walks through the town square with John in hot pursuit. He catches up with her and gallantly assures her they are on the same page but she doubts it. She angrily updates him on Kristen wanting her doctor to be her therapist - the one who knows all the details of her innermost thoughts! John frowns. She might be right and Kristen might be playing games but at least they are still a team. Marlena lists all of Kristen’s antics. She fears she wants to drive her insane. John holds her tight and promises as they long as they are a team and stick together, they will prevail ... - Kristen has just finished tying her bathrobe belt at the hotel when an impatient knock sounds at her door. She assumes it is room service and asks them to leave the tray while she bathes. She enters the bathroom. A figure slips into her room and it is not room service ...! - Maggie realizes Jen wants her to convince Dan to change his mind. The redhead explains she already tried but the widow Jen insists she try again. She can move mountains! The redhead smiles hopefully. - At the nurse’s station, the young nurse is admiring half of the baby outfit for her sister’s baby. Nearby, Dr. Dan runs into the volunteer from Salem Gives, who has a box of items for the hospital. On the top is the other half of the baby outfit Meanwhile, the co-worker of the young nurse has snatched the baby outfit from the nurse’s hand and asks Dr. Jonas to intervene and tell her that stealing is wrong! Dan peers at them. - Back at the apartment, Nicole has a visitor. Tis EJ, who glares daggers at her as he storms in. “If you think you're going to get away with this, you are very much mistaken!” Nicole takes a deep breath and braces herself for the showdown ...!
