FAR FROM OVER - Part 2 - At the nurse’s station, Dr. Kayla hears all about Jen’s sore hand being the result of her run-in with that HR witch Anne. She realizes Jen is remaining as she seems to be looking for Daniel, but he has left. Jen appears disappointed. Kayla suggests she only wants to quit because of Dan and Nicole Walker. - Nicole examines one of the files that was left in the room - her own. The handwritten report indicates the sonogram detected no fetal heartbeat. She shoves the file into her bag and bends over with great difficulty to retrieve the baby clothes from the floor. She stops and has another breakdown, no one there to comfort her. - At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor pours himself an expensive coffee from his elegant silver pot. He was admittedly surprised to hear from Daniel, though he always has time for him. Visitor Dan appreciates he is always there for him. Victor reminds him he is his godfather. Dan points out that means much to the Greek tycoon. Indeed. When he held him in his arms for the first time, he made a promise to take care of him as if he were his own son. For life! Dan takes it all in. - EJ saunters into the pub with a scowl and picks up a menu, pretending not to care about anything or anyone. Kate knows that look and it must have been caused by Sami Brady! - Sami promises Rafe she has no problem with him being the father of Nicole’s baby and hugs him. She just wants a fresh start. He smiles they will have a fresh start and they share a passionate kiss. - Lucas sits eagerly at the table with Sonny and Will. He admits he and Sami were not great role models. However, Will does not seem to have their problem of a short-lived relationship. Lucas has had an epiphany. He was an ass to confront Adrienne with his concerns and also react the way he did when he saw the two guys kissing in public. He realizes one cannot change one’s feelings easily but one can control how one reacts and that is what he is now doing. He acknowledges what Sonny and Will have is clearly special. Sonny teases they must be doomed, given their parents are all supporting them now. Lucas chuckles not to listen to anyone, especially not a fool like him. That is all he has to say. Will jumps up and hugs him. Everyone is happy again. - Jen informs Kayla she must accept if Daniel is with Nicole. However, she is ruining his life and that is why she cannot stick around to watch the nightmare unfolding right before her eyes. Kayla tries to stop her from walking away but then must step away to take a call. Nicole slowly emerges and numbly presses the elevator button. Alone. - Dan praises Godfather Victor for always being there for him and stepping up. “You were always there, right there when I needed you.” He always guided him on the right path. The Greek tycoon assumes he needs him now but Dan has decided he knows where he is going. He flashes back to agreeing to be the godfather of Nicole’s son. Vic praises him as a good father and good man. He should not be hard on himself. The two men emotionally hug and Dan breathes thank you. - EJ coolly refuses to discuss Samantha with Kate. She calls him touchy. He taunts her that he spoke with Stefano today. She innocently wonders about what. He airily remarks he failed to ask about her. She is sadly not surprised. EJ muses he always senses when he is almost ready to fall back in league with the DiMera league of devils! - Sami and Rafe kiss and discuss going on a picnic by the river. She points out if she fell in the river, he would save her. “Always,” he murmurs and they kiss and kiss. - Nicole sits alone on a park bench and takes out her medical file. She reads it, takes a deep breath, then proceeds to the nearest trash can, where she tears it up and dumps it. As she turns away, Billie comes around the corner and smiles about how lovely she is with her pregnant glow. Billie says it was nice to see her and goes on her merry way.Nicole agrees it was nice to see her too, making no mention of the fact that her baby is no longer alive. - Kate would like to know what EJ intends to do about his father. Will he allow him back in his life? EJ sighs. He now declares as God as his witness, he is done with that man! Meanwhile. Stefano is still seated in an elegant European restaurant, informing someone on the phone that he needs help convincing Elvis to take his rightful place in the family. She is the only hope he has! (and she will be KRISTEN!) - Dan enters Jen’s office. He heard she was planning to resign, but he has decided he will be resigning instead! - Sami and Rafe are at the town square, She offers to pick up the wine. They kiss like a couple of teenagers and he awaits her with the picnic basket. Nicole silently creeps into the town square and gives him a very strange look … END |
