He is surprised to hear Gabi will be a bridesmaid for Mel. Will chuckles she tried to break the couple up! Gabi declares the past is in the past and she intends to keep it there! - Back at Chad’s place, Mel hugs him and tells him about her visit with Maggie. He vows he wants to marry her because he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. She agrees and they kiss and embrace like a couple of teenagers. She woefully states she feels safe with him and he is everything he wants and needs. A brief shadow of guilt passes over Chad's face. - Maggie suggests it is not her place to decide when and where Jen needs a timeout, nor is it Nicole’s place. Nicole apologizes. Maggie accepts. Nicole leaves with a fake smile, then talks to herself outside the door. What if Jennifer runs into Dan at the hospital? - Jen defiantly informs Dan she can handle things on her own, even if it means her office has to be in the basement! He promises not to interfere again and woefully walks away. Maxine calls her crazy! He was trying to be nice, though Jen would rather not have any favors. Maxine accuses her of jumping down his throat. Jen retorts then why did she tell her? She assumed she would be pleased to know she had someone on her side but she was clearly mistaken. Jen is sorry. Maxine coldly adds to enjoy her office and walks off. Meanwhile Nicole has just arrived and watches with interest. - Gabi is surprised to hear that Will cares for Sonny who cares for Will. Will admits they almost didn’t happen as they had a misunderstanding. Sometimes one assumes the wrong thing even about a close friend. Gabi appears momentarily uncomfortable. - Nicole approaches Dan in the staff room. He becomes concerned. Is the baby alright? Yes. She had some free time and wanted to have coffee with him. Is he alright? He sighs he is but she senses something and assures him there is nothing he cannot tell her. - Sami is drinking wine all alone on the couch. Knock knock! Tis brother Brady, who wants a word. He suspects she is mad at him. She was but would rather not talk Kate. Brady explains he just spoke with ... Rafe! She stares. - Rafe is walking along the town square when EJ comes up behind him and drawls Samatha’s office is in the opposite direction. Rafe is more interested in his phone. EJ warns him not to cross him. Rafe growls to get a life. EJ saunters around him and tells him to accept that Samantha has moved on. Rafe sarcastically wonders with him? EJ argues that as per the divorce paperwork, she is no longer his concern. "So get out of her life and mine!" EJ stares coldly. Rafe stares right back. - Jen apologizes to Maxine for overreacting. She now wants to apologize to Dan ... er ... Dr. Jonas face to face. He went on break. Jen thanks her and goes to find him. - Dan sits with Nicole in the staff room and explains he got over what was bothering him. She gushes she has news and places his hand on her tummy. She announces her name for the baby is Daniel Rafael, after her two saviors. The medicine man is moved and they embrace. Nicole suddenly takes his face in her hands and whispers she also wants her baby to know how much she cares about him. She proceeds to kiss him on the lips. - Sam continues drinking her wine. "You saw Rafe," she airily notes. Brady did indeed. Rafe explained he had a visit with her and he was certainly in a mood. Sami becomes interested. Brady adds he let it all out. Sami wonders what he said about her. Brady asks what she thinks he said about her! - Rafe drawls he heard EJ loud and clear so EJ smugly states at least he does not need to repeat himself. Rafe wonders if that was an order. It was not a suggestion. Rafe now has a suggestion for the former mayor and glares daggers at him. "Go to hell!" The showdown escalates ... END |
