KISS YOU WHEN IT'S DANGEROUS - Part 2 - Sami insists she is not assuming anything but if Rafe will not be living with Nicole, she can help with the baby. She has experience with babies and psycho exes. Rafe realizes she is referring to EJ. Sami explains she told EJ he is out of the picture. The only relationship they have will be that he is a father to Johnny and Sydney. She is looking forward to meeting Rafe’s baby and hopes to help him. Rafe grins she is full of surprises. She hopes he will say something now. Rafe asks if she really told EJ to get lost. She remarks she tried to be honest. And the truth is, the way she feels about EJ just does not compare to how she feels about Rafe! - Prim and proper administrator Jennifer is working at her desk, trying to concentrate. Knock knock! Tis nurse Maxine, curious about a printing job Jen sent to the nurse’s station concerning DNA labs in the state. Jen pretends she might have accidentally printed too many pages from sites she was looking at but heads to the nurse’s station to pick up the list. All the DNA labs in the state. Just as she walks away, reading said list, Dr. Dan bumps into her and gallantly retrieves her dropped papers, ignoring her protests. He follows her into her office, where she has just hidden them in a drawer, and stares at her in disbelief. “What do you think you’re doing?” - Maggie is shocked to come home to Nick’s bloodied face. He claims he fell. Maggie accuses him of lying. “Who did this?” She lectures him for fighting while on parole. Gabi insists he did not start it or even participate in the fight. Maggie demands to know who the attacker was. Nick sniffles. The redhead deduces it was Chad and wonders if Melanie knows. Gabi quietly states Chad is presently with Mel. Maggie informs Nick the butler will help him upstairs, thanks Gabi, and exits in a hurry. Gabi is sincerely sorry if she caused trouble for Nick. He murmurs she did not. - Chad tries to wipe the blood from his hand and reasons he was scared, hence his reaction. Mel cries this must simply stop. Chad blurts out he read those horrendous articles about what Nick did and he will not let it happen again. Mel cries it was not Nick who hurt her this time, it was him! He even sounds like a stalker now, the way he wants to protect her. He disagrees. He just wants to keep her ... Mel sobs Gabi was right. Chad steps forward and she warns him not to touch her. - Rafe sighs and tells Sam that is good to know. Sami points out she just shared what she feels with him ... Rafe changes the subject by asking if she would like dessert. She declines. He suggests they get the check in that case. - Dan informs Jen he has seen her list of DNA labs but Jen claims it was for blood only. Dan notes DNA labs would not have blood available for hospitals. He warns her that she will get hurt. Jen plays innocent. Dan remarks she seems to be onto something but should really withdraw. He gets a message from Maggie but urges Jen not to get involved. There is no telling what EJ would do … Jen quips he will go after him anyway, she knows it. Dan growls and steps out to communicate with Maggie. Jen sits back down and stares at the list. - Chad implores Mel to let them work this out. Their wedding ... She cries there will be no wedding. Enter Maggie, apologizing for taking so long. Mel cries that Chad was just leaving. Chad, his hands shaking, concludes he has no choice and storms out. Mel now sobs like a baby. Maggie hugs her and asks what happened. “It’s over!” wails Mel. - Jen makes notes at her desk based on the DNA labs list, then decides to put it in the recycling box. She cannot go through with it, however, and opts to keep the list, returning to her computer. - Mel is crying on Maggie’s shoulder when papa Dan enters. She now cries on his shoulder too. - Dejected Chad goes home to his empty apartment, touches Mel’s scarf to his lips, and quietly cries for the girl he lost. - Gabi is sitting on the sofa with Nick and suggests he go up to his room and rest. Nick the genius knows that she ventured to Mel’s and it was because of him. She admits she told Mel all about her thug boyfriend attacking him. She was taking responsibility, just as he believes in. She adds she did some rotten things and needed to come clean about them as well. Nick teases he doubts it. But that matters not. As far as he is concerned, she is his guardian angel! - Rafe escorts Sami to her door and explains he has to check in with the station. He now learns her mom has the kids tonight. Sami hastily adds she did not mean anything by that and bids him goodnight. Rafe stares, mesmerized. She thanks him and warmly states she had a nice time. So did he. He kisses her tenderly on the forehead and she smiles she will see him later. Rafe agrees and starts to walk away. Sami opens her door. Rafe suddenly grabs her by the arm and draws her into what becomes a passionate kiss for both ... END |
