Will talks film fest. They stand up and Will wonders what Sonny's mom would say about not studying. Sonny teases she thinks college is all about finding one’s passion and kisses him on the cheek. Will agrees to see him later and walks off. Sonny chuckles. But Adrienne watches ominously. - Nick notes Chad loves Mel but she thinks he is someone she never really knew. Perhaps she is the one who does not know herself. Nick remarks if not for him being in town, she would not be asking herself such questions. Mel does not deny it, though she feels asking herself these questions is actually a good thing! Being in Salem made her realize she might not be such a good judge of character but at least she now knows what a wonderful family is like. She calls the Hortons amazing and hopes he will lean on them for support. He intends to. He assures the frightened girl he is here to help but she doubts he will feel that way after she tells all. He will not judge her but will need the facts. She proceeds to share her long sordid story. - Sami is on her computer when Will comes home.She shares that Lucas told her he saw him and Sonny together. He laughs about love being in the air, then asks about her date with Rafe. How did that go? - Rafe is admiring the kids’ family drawing when he decides to call Sami. He is interrupted by a loud, decisive knock at the door and opens it to EJ, who smugly says hello. Rafe is not interested as now is not a good time. EJ suggests he make time and waltzes in, confident that he at long last has the upper hand! - Chad sits all alone on the floor and sighs at a picture to himself and Mel in happier times. He hopes his brother EJ can help him. - Lucas approaches Adrienne at her coffee house table. Sami told him what she said and he is not so sure she was wrong to express doubts about Will and Sonny! - Sami sighs to Will that as per Rafe, their date meant nothing! - Rafe wants to know what EJ wants.
