| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Wednesday, September 5, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE PLAN - Part 2 - Rafe claims he is the father of Nicole’s baby and is just giving her space. Sami asks why. Nicole returns and overhears him saying she had a terrible time of it and so he is supporting Nicole, though from the sidelines. Sami finds it out of character for him to be on the sidelines. He refuses to continue the discussion. Sami coldly thanks him again and walks away to get a cab. Exasperated Rafe sighs. Nicole shows herself and states her appointment was cancelled. She now accuses Rafe of almost blowing it. He sounded ready to tell Sami too much! - Papa EJ calls out for the kids not to get peanut butter on the games console. Enter Sami, with an update on Rafe rescuing her handbag. She plays it cool and opens the fridge. EJ helps himself to a sandwich and she shares that saw Nicole at the hospital. She must have taken Rafe to the dark side, for it appears he might have lied about the baby being his after all. EJ suddenly announces he thinks he made a terrible mistake. - Rafe promises Nicole that her secret is safe with him. Nicole, however, is more concerned about Sami snooping around. Rafe reasons that present hospital security is better than Sami’s old DNA switching skills. Nicole fears she will bat her eyes at him for information. Rafe vows he will not betray her confidence. Nicole, however, wonders whether he would betray himself for the woman he loved ... - Nick’s mom reminds Maggie that her son was under the influence of prescription drugs. He deserves a chance, just as others have been given second chances. She cries she loves him and Maggie consoles her with a hug. She is sorry.Mel silently watches the scene, then disappears without having been spotted. - Mel returns to the board to give her statement and assures them she is up for it. Chad approaches the gang outside the door and updates them that Mel is inside, talking to the parole board. Dan is dismayed. Maggie is surprised. - The parole board would like to know whether or not Mel is there to object to Nick’s parole. Nick is sweating. - Maggie and Nick’s mom now learn from Hope that Mel had entered through another door, which is why they did not perceive her. Hope gets a work call and must take her leave. Maggie will keep her posted. Nick’s mom sighs this will not be good for her son. She glumly decides to go call her mom. Maggie askd her to give her her love. Exit Jessica. Chad and Dan sit together. They assume Mel will be speaking against Nick and doing what they both know is right. Mel now walks out the door. Relieved papa Dan embraces her. She wearily states she did what she had to do, her eyes somewhat apprehensive. - Abigail and shirtless Cam are getting hot and heavy on the couch. He is ready to take it further. She suddenly jumps up, a bundle of nerves, and tells him to leave. Confused Cam quietly agrees, gets his shirt, and walks away. Abigail gasps, clearly stressed. - Rafe claims not to know what Nicole means about the woman he loves. Nicole suggests Sami is not out of his life as he had promised. The eyes do not lie! She implores him not to let her stomp on his heart again. Rafe solemnly assures her he will not fall for Sami again! - Sami wonders what changed EJ’s mind. He reminds her she claimed that Rafe does not lie. He pleasantly points out the paternity tests do not lie, as Dr. Jonas insisted. A part of him had wanted the baby to be his, though he knows it really is not. Dr Jonas would not put his career on the line for Nicole and Rafe would certainly not put his future on the line for Nicole. Therefore, they must be telling the truth about it being Rafe’s baby. Sami claims she has a headache and goes in the other room to lie down. EJ grins. Mission accomplished. - Chad touches Mel’s face and remarks Nick will be staying behind bars. Maggie introduces Nick’s mother. The board now emerges with their official decision. Parole grated! Jessica and Maggie share an emotional hug. Dan stares darkly. Chad holds Mel close ... END |
